Amador County Liquor License Facts
Acquiring an Amador Liquor License alone can take up to 4 months. After fulfilling your application, a notice will be served at the location of your business. This is a courtesy notification to the local population that you intend to sell alcohol. If there are no noteworthy complaints regarding your application, ABC will move on to an examination of the people listed on your application, the location of your business, and your business in general.
ABC, however, may not be able to accommodate your application and issue you a liquor license. This happens when a county has reached or exceeded the quota for issued liquor licenses. If you ever come across this dilemma, you will have to purchase your license in the open market. This option is a more expensive one, but it is your only option given the circumstances. In some cases, depending on the local liquor policy, you may need to get a separate license if you intend to serve liquor on your premises. Make sure you are aware of these policies before you apply.
Regardless of whether you are looking to be issued a license by the ABC or going for the open market, rest assured that our professional team at Liquor License Agents can assist you through whatever process.
